Elven Queen
The supreme ruler of Calaelen. She oversees everything that happens within
the realm, and resides in Thysenfere.

Elven King
Ultimately a complimentary rank for the partner of the Queen, he generally
oversees Thysenfere, though can be overrun by the Queen should she so
choose.

Princess
The named heir to the throne of Calaelen. She holds no political power.

Mikado
The King of the Entenians. He rarely leaves the Oniya Dessert. He controls
Entenpayne, and the Oniya. His followers are quite loyal.

Vizier
Not an official courtier, though still concidered one. They are the
advisor to the royal family, and deal with excess matters of state.
As well, they are concidered as if they were of a higher ranking
than a Duke.

Duke
Highest courtier rank beneath the rulers and advisors.

Duchess
A title that is given to the sister of the Duke until he is married. It is
simply a complimentary title.

Marquis
Highest rank a human is allowed to hold, and has been passed down in
the Shevraethe family since the dominions were granted to humans.

Marquise
A title that is given to the sister to the Marquis until he is married. It is
simply a complimentary title.

Count/Earl
Middle rank that may be held by any race or gender.

Countess
Middle rank that may be held by any race or gender.

Viscount
Lower rank that often switches hands in civil wars. It may be held by any
race or gender.

Viscountess
Lower rank that often swtiches hands in civil wars. It may be held by any
race or gender.

Baron
Lowest rank in nobility, often switching hands in civil wars or being
stripped from a person. It may be held by any race or gender. They may
only oversee a municipality.

Baroness
Lowest rank in nobility, often switching hands in civil wars or being stripped
from a person. It may be held by any race or gender. They may only oversee
a municipality.

Citizen
A general member of Calaelen society; the working class.

Entenian
A member of the Entenian tribe that comes from Entenpayne in the Oniya
Dessert. They follow only their Mikado.
